Organize your collectables and make something completely your own in the process.

In this workshop, you’ll create a Sew and Tell Case by Rosie Taylor Crafts, a customizable case designed to hold all your favorite bits and pieces, labels, ribbons, patches, selvedges, and other little treasures that tend to pile up.

This project is all about creative layout and personalization. You’ll choose from a variety of page styles and learn how to construct and assemble them into a case that works for you. Whether you’re organizing sewing notions or building something more like a fabric scrapbook or junk journal, this case can be tailored to fit your style.

We’ll cover construction techniques, working with multiple layers, and tips for keeping everything neat and functional while still feeling playful and expressive.

This is a very scrap-friendly project, so bring your stash, the more variety the better. This is a great place to use those small, special pieces you’ve been saving.

Please note: You will not finish the case during this 5 hour class, but you will make a strong start and leave with the knowledge and confidence to complete it on your own. If you’d like additional support finishing your project, consider signing up for one of the monthly Bag Making Clinics. Dates and registration for those are here.

Cancellation Policy

I totally understand that schedules can get a little wild sometimes! If something comes up and you can’t make it to class, here’s how I handle cancellations:

  • More than 72 hours before class: No worries at all—I'm happy to either move you to a future session or give you a full refund.
  • Less than 72 hours before class starts: Let me know as soon as you can. If I’m able to fill your spot, I’ll gladly move you to another date or issue you store credit to use later.
  • No-show with no notice: Your class fee will be forfeited. I know that’s a bummer, but I’ve already planned, prepped, and paid for your spot—kind of like buying a concert ticket. If you can’t make it and give me a heads up, there’s a much better chance I can help!

If you’re unsure what applies to your situation, just reach out—I’m always happy to talk it through and see what we can figure out.
