Join us for the Lucy Train Case Class and create a structured, professional-looking zippered case that’s perfect for travel and everyday organization.
Students will sew from the Lucy Train Case pattern by Diane Immer of Craft Owl Handmade, featuring a sturdy top handle, zip-around closure, and an elastic slip pocket inside the lid for keeping small essentials in place.
In class, we’ll focus on completing one train case so you can move confidently through construction and finish with a polished result. The pattern includes three nesting sizes, so you can make additional cases on your own after class.
A great project for quilted panels or bold fabric pairings, and a fun way to build your bag-making skills.

Small: 5" × 3½" × 3½"
Medium: 7½" × 4½" × 5½"
Large: 9½" × 5½" × 7½"

I totally understand that schedules can get a little wild sometimes! If something comes up and you can’t make it to class, here’s how I handle cancellations:
- More than 72 hours before class: No worries at all—I'm happy to either move you to a future session or give you a full refund.
- Less than 72 hours before class starts: Let me know as soon as you can. If I’m able to fill your spot, I’ll gladly move you to another date or issue you store credit to use later.
- No-show with no notice: Your class fee will be forfeited. I know that’s a bummer, but I’ve already planned, prepped, and paid for your spot—kind of like buying a concert ticket. If you can’t make it and give me a heads up, there’s a much better chance I can help!
