Fussy Cut Creative Workshop: A Collab with Fabric-Pop x Glue & Stitch

Join Glue & Stitch and Fabric Pop for a fun-filled day celebrating creative sewing, beautiful fabric, and the art of fussy cutting.

We'll kick things off with demonstrations, creative tips, and plenty of inspiration before you dive into the projects that interest you most. Your registration includes a workshop kit (a $20 value) filled with some specialty supplies and printed instructions for some of the featured projects, so you'll be ready to start creating right away. With two instructors available throughout the 6 hour workshop, you'll have plenty of individual guidance while creating at your own pace.

One of the highlights of the day is our Scrap Swap, so bring your favorite fabric scraps and interesting selvedges to trade with fellow makers. We'll also have an inspiration table filled with samples, techniques, and project ideas to spark your creativity.

Choose from featured projects including a fussy cut pinch pouch, a quilted scrap busting zipper pouch, and personalized fabric name tags. If you finish early, or simply want to keep creating, we'll also have bonus mini projects, such as fabric stamps and other quick makes, if you're ready for another creative challenge.

Work at your own pace and choose the projects that interest you most. Whether you leave with one beautifully finished piece or a collection of handmade projects, the day is designed to be flexible, creative, and fun.

You'll receive instructions for the featured projects so you can continue creating at home, along with fresh ideas for showcasing your favorite fabrics in future projects.

Workshop Kit (Included with Registration)

A workshop kit, valued at approximately $20, is included with your registration and will be provided at the beginning of class. The kit contains specialty supplies for the project, including:

• Printed Pinch Pouch pattern
• Flex frame
• Interfacing for One Pinch Pouch
• Fat quarter of Selvedge Magic
• Fat quarter of Selvedge Magic Letters
• Fat quarter of Kona White Fabric
• Wonder Under
• 1 yard of zipper tape with 3 zipper pulls
• Clasp for the back of your name tag

Please note: A complete supply list will be emailed after registration. The workshop kit includes many of the specialty supplies needed, but you will also need to bring additional materials.

Sewing Machine: Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine if they have one. A limited number of sewing machines are available to rent for class. If you need to reserve a machine, please add a Sewing Machine Rental to your cart when registering.
