Sew a custom School Days Pencil Pouch with quilt-pieced letters that make it truly theirs. In this class, you’ll use patchwork piecing techniques with letters and quilt your fabric to create a one-of-a-kind pouch for a special kiddo heading back to school.
We’ll walk through building your name panel using Selvage Magic letters, piecing it together, and turning it into a finished zippered pouch. Everyone starts with the same pattern, but each pouch comes out completely unique.
Whether you’re making it for your own kid, a grandkid, or a gift, this is a project that feels personal and fun to sew.

Your registration fee includes a 1/2 yard cut of the Selvage Magic panel, featuring letters pulled straight from Ruby Star Society selvedges. This is a full repeat panel which will be provided to you at class.

I totally understand that schedules can get a little wild sometimes! If something comes up and you can’t make it to class, here’s how I handle cancellations:
- More than 72 hours before class: No worries at all—I'm happy to either move you to a future session or give you a full refund.
- Less than 72 hours before class starts: Let me know as soon as you can. If I’m able to fill your spot, I’ll gladly move you to another date or issue you store credit to use later.
- No-show with no notice: Your class fee will be forfeited. I know that’s a bummer, but I’ve already planned, prepped, and paid for your spot—kind of like buying a concert ticket. If you can’t make it and give me a heads up, there’s a much better chance I can help!
