✨ Kick off 2027 with the Glue & Stitch Block of the Month Club! ✨
For our 2027 Block of the Month, we'll be making the Barn Star Sampler by Shelley Cavanna. Inspired by traditional barn quilt blocks with a fresh, modern twist, this stunning sampler quilt features 20 unique block designs ranging from 4" to 24". Throughout the year, you'll build your skills while creating a quilt full of beautiful star blocks, varied construction techniques, and endless opportunities for creative fabric and color choices. This project is very beginner friendly and has lots of fantastic instructions
Here’s the best part: you don’t have to turn all the into just one sampler quilt! You can combine the blocks to make a few baby quilts, wall hangings, table runners, pillows, or whatever sparks your creativity. The book has examples of a variety of quilt layouts as well.

I totally understand that schedules can get a little wild sometimes! If something comes up and you can’t make it to class, here’s how I handle cancellations:
- More than 72 hours before class: No worries at all—I'm happy to either move you to a future session or give you a full refund.
- Less than 72 hours before class starts: Let me know as soon as you can. If I’m able to fill your spot, I’ll gladly move you to another date or issue you store credit to use later.
- No-show with no notice: Your class fee will be forfeited. I know that’s a bummer, but I’ve already planned, prepped, and paid for your spot—kind of like buying a concert ticket. If you can’t make it and give me a heads up, there’s a much better chance I can help!
If you’re unsure what applies to your situation, just reach out—I’m always happy to talk it through and see what we can figure out.
